Whether you need a new driveway, a patio that does not puddle or a garden room to work from, we build it from the ground up with our own team. We dig out, lay a proper compacted sub-base, sort the drainage and then lay the finish, so it stays level and lasts.
We are a builder rather than a paving-only firm, so we can also handle the jobs around it: retaining walls on sloping plots, steps, dropped kerbs, soakaways, electrics to a garden room and landscaping to finish it all off.

Common questions
Do I need planning permission for a new driveway?
If the new surface at the front of the house is more than five square metres and does not let water drain through it or run off to a lawn or border, it usually needs planning permission. Permeable paving or proper drainage normally avoids this. A new dropped kerb needs separate approval from the highways authority, and we can help with the application.
Which driveway surface is best?
Block paving is hard-wearing and easy to repair, tarmac is cost-effective for larger areas, and resin-bound gives a smooth, permeable finish. We talk through looks, cost, drainage and maintenance at the site visit and quote for the options that suit your house.
Porcelain or natural stone for a patio?
Porcelain is very hard-wearing, stain-resistant and consistent in colour. Natural stone such as Indian sandstone has more character and variation. We can show you examples of both and talk through cost and maintenance.
Do garden rooms need planning permission?
Many can be built under permitted development if they meet limits on height, position and use, but rules are stricter near boundaries and in conservation areas. We check before you commit.
