A well-planned extension is usually the best way to get more space without the cost and upheaval of moving. We build single-storey rear extensions, side returns, wrap-arounds and two-storey extensions for homes across Surrey and north-east Hampshire.
We look after the whole build: groundworks and foundations, steels, brickwork, roofing, windows and bifolds, then the plastering, electrics, plumbing and finishes inside. You deal with one company from the first visit to handover.

Common questions
Do I need planning permission for an extension?
Not always. Many single-storey rear extensions can be built under permitted development rights, within limits on depth, height and position. Two-storey, side and front extensions, and homes in conservation areas or with listed status, usually need planning permission. We will tell you which route applies when we visit, and arrange the drawings and application if one is needed.
Do I need building regulations approval?
Yes. Almost every extension needs building regulations approval, whether or not it needs planning. We arrange building control and make sure inspections are booked at each stage, so you get a completion certificate at the end.
What about the Party Wall Act?
If you are building on or near a shared boundary, or digging foundations close to a neighbour, you may need to serve notice under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996. We will flag this early so it does not hold up the start date.
