01The brief
A bathroom for a very old building: better insulated, with smart controls for the lights, ventilation, heating and hot water, and period-style tiles to match the outside of the house with a modern twist.
02What we did
- Stripped the room back to the original brickwork and started from scratch
- Upgraded the insulation
- Built new internal walls and ceilings, with new plumbing and electrics
- Fitted smart switches for the lights, ventilation, heating, stored water and central heating
- Laid period-style tiles, installed the suite and sanitaryware, then the flooring and decoration
