01The brief

Open up the ground floor into one kitchen and living space, with underfloor heating throughout and the worktop running cleanly into the front window.

02What we did

• Removed the internal wall and the old kitchen
• Put in a new steel
• Stripped the walls back to blockwork, then fully re-plastered
• Installed wet underfloor heating
• Laid LVT flooring and fitted new skirtings
• Changed the front window so the worktop runs into it, with no cill or step behind the tap
• Decorated throughout

03The result

A bright, open-plan room that is warm underfoot, with the worktop running straight into the window. The client was thrilled with the finish and the team's attention to detail.
