The Challenge
To turn a sloping uninsulated garage into a living space with a large oak bay window.
Our Approach
We had to turn a garage into a useable cozy living space, so we began by moving a doorway, building a new dividing wall to create a utility area on the back, and remodel the kitchen to allow access to the new to be room. We made a solid oak subframe to house the new windows to match with the existing house along with sourcing bricks to match to construct the bay window.
